Welcome and Registration: 4:15-5:00 PM
Registration area will be at the back of Portsmouth High School at the band
room entrance.
Practice with the Band: 5:00 PM
We will meet in the band room to go over music, then rehearse the pre-game
show on the practice field.
March to the “Trojan Coliseum” with the Band at approx. 6:45 PM
Please note you do not have to play your instrument to march or participate with the band. We would like as many as possible to be present, there is a place for everyone!!!
Music: All band alumni will participate in pregame. Music will be provided that evening and prior to the game by email or regular mail. Pre game music includes: PHS Fight Song, Alma Mater and National Anthem. All former band directors are being invited to direct during pre-game. After pre-game, we will go to our designated seating behind the band block.
If you need an instrument please notify us by September 19th so we can make arrangements. We will try our best to accommodate as many as possible.
Dress: Alumni T-Shirt, Long Pants (jeans are fine) We have arranged to have shirts made for a nominal fee. $6 sizes S-XL and $6.50 for sizes 2X-5X. Please let us know by September 19th what size you will need and if you will be attending. Pre-payment is encouraged as soon as possible.
Fees: $15 dollars includes membership into the Alumni Assoc., T-shirt and
ticket for the game. $5 membership for the Alumni Assoc. only.
