Portsmouth City Schools will conduct kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year. Registration at East Portsmouth Elementary School (EPE), 5929 Harding Avenue in Sciotoville, will be Wednesday, March 27, from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Registration at Portsmouth Elementary School (PES), 514 Union Street, Portsmouth, is currently underway Monday-Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Students must be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2024, to be eligible to register for the 2024-2025 school year. Parents are asked to bring the child’s original birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security card, I.D. (example: driver’s license), proof of residency (example: utility bill, rental agreement, etc.), custody or guardianship papers (as applicable), and IEP if the child has been identified. Open enrollment students are welcome!
