The Portsmouth City Board of Education seeks applicants to fill an unexpired term of a board member which became vacant on September 7th, 2023.
The board will begin interviewing candidates on September 20th. The newly appointed member will serve until December 31st, 2025.
All applications must be submitted by 10 am on Wednesday, September 20th.
According to Ohio law, people serving on Ohio school boards must be district residents, registered voters in the district and at least 18 years old.
